Join us for our weekly research seminar series! Held every Thursday from 4:00pm - 5:00pm CST, these sessions are currently hosted in-person only in Building 109, Room 208 at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC).
Our CTRID/MEDVAMC seminars are Continuing Medical Education (CME)-accredited, and provide a platform to promote interactions and collaboration among new and established investigators. Our audience members have a broad range of research expertise and range from trainees to world-renowned visiting professors. Moreover, the seminar also allows investigators to seek feedback on upcoming grant applications, manuscripts, etc.

National MEDVAMC Research Week
鈥淐entennial Anniversary of VA Research鈥�
May 12 鈥� 16, 2025
VA Research Week takes place every year to highlight our exceptional VA researchers and the incredible work they do at the MEDVAMC to improve the lives of Veterans. This year鈥檚 VA Research Week included a Research Experience Fair, in which Research Service Line lab groups could share their research in real time with Veterans. More than 500 Veterans attended and visited our study tables. Additionally, we held a Veteran Engagement Panel, which offered a powerful and emotional close to the week鈥檚 events. The session featured VA scientists presenting brief overviews of their research, followed by Veterans who shared heartfelt stories about how their lives were changed through participation in VA research. 10th Annual MEDVAMC Research Poster Session
On October 10, 2024, we hosted the 10th Annual MEDVAMC Research Poster Session! This occasion exemplifies CTRID鈥檚 goal to enhance interaction among investigators and is an important venue for potential future collaborations.
