The Baylor Clinical Experience
Clinical experiences are critical to the education and, ultimately, the career you want. Our location within the world’s largest medical complex, as well as our affiliations with renowned hospitals, clinics and additional training sites throughout Texas ensure that our students, residents and fellows are exposed to patients with a range of health issues, ages and socioeconomic strata.

Maintaining your physical and mental wellbeing throughout medical training is essential to your success. Our student wellness (BCM LIFE) and resident / fellow (BCM BeWell) programs are designed to support you at every step of your journey.
I could just tell during my interview that º£½ÇÉçÇø was a really special place. When I met the students, that’s when it kind of cinched for me – just getting to experience the community that they built and how much every student really cared about the success of their classmates.
2024 Commencement
º£½ÇÉçÇø celebrated the graduating class of 2024, which included 170 students from the School of Medicine, 99 graduates from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and nine students from the Genetic Counseling Program in the School of Health Professions.
Match Day 2025
Fourth-year medical students at º£½ÇÉçÇø learn where they will continue their medical training on Match Day, a nationwide event for medical students. This event marks the culmination of the annual National Resident Matching Program that pairs fourth-year medical students with residency programs throughout the U.S.

º£½ÇÉçÇø School of Medicine – Temple is a branch campus of º£½ÇÉçÇø located in Temple, Texas, and is dependent on the continued accreditation of the parent campus located in Houston, Texas.
LCME
º£½ÇÉçÇø is also accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (a joint committee representing the American Medical Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges). Students may review all accreditation, state approval and licensure documents upon request.
