The Laboratory for Regenerative Tissue Repair is focused on furthering our understanding of the molecular mechanisms that underlie the fetus鈥� ability to regeneratively heal cutaneous wounds and the development of novel therapies to achieve scarless wound healing in postnatal tissues.

The laboratories within the center perform basic, translational, and pre-clinical research on the crosstalk between extracellular microenvironment, immunoregulation and mechanotransduction in tissue repair outcomes.
