Dr. Julie Hakim is a co-founder of , an organization that facilitates awareness about technologies, services, and products that improve women鈥檚 health and wellness. The lab members shares in that passion and often collaborate on efforts toward advancing FemTech Focus鈥檚 goals.
Dr. Julie Hakim also leads a bilingual platform, SomosGyn, that informs and empowers adolescents and young women in gynecology, nutrition, and wellness in the Latin community. She leverages her medical expertise to disseminate gynecologic knowledge that is often uncomfortable to talk about and often fails to reach this underserved population. She and the lab members embrace this opportunity for education to champion adolescent women as they face a stage of physical and mental change.
