Dr. Stuart Yudofsky's research and clinical practice focus in two areas: psychopharmacology (the use of medications to treat mental illnesses) and neuropsychiatry (the treatment of mood and behavioral changes associated with brain disorders such as stroke, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury). For the past 26 years, he has been Editor of The Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences, the official journal of the American Neuropsychiatric Association, and the author/co-author of numerous scientific articles and over 70 book chapters. He additionally is the author of or has edited/co-edited over 48 medical books, including two of the standard reference textbooks in this field for the American Psychiatric Publishing, Textbook of Psychiatry, Sixth Edition, and the Textbook of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, soon to be published in its Sixth Edition.Websites
