Dr. Gao Earns AAS Outstanding Resident Research Award

Zachary Gao, M.D., general surgery resident, has received an Outstanding Resident Research Award for Basic Science from the Association for Academic Surgery for his work, 鈥淪1P Signaling Inhibition in Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Induces Immune Remodeling". He will be presented with the award at the Annual Academic Surgical Congress in Houston on Feb. 9, 2023. Dr. Gao鈥檚 research, under his mentor Ramsay Camp, M.D., focuses on pancreatic adenocarcinoma and ways to improve treatment strategies for pancreatic cancer.
